Web design and development services are available to locations outside of Northwest Indiana. Web design services have been provided to clients located in Woodinville, Washington and Cookeville, Tennesee.

Website design services include accessible design layout, graphic design of logos and banners, digital photography, and interactive website design based on relationship marketing techniques. Web development services include database management using mySQL, SQL server or Access databases; and ecommerce solutions, such as Miva or Americart shopping carts. Web development services also include custom programming using JavaScript, Perl and PHP. Domain name registration is provided through PairNic, an ICANN accredited registrar. MsDetta, Inc. also provides web hosting for clients who need this service.

Your website will be developed using the latest technology standards, such as cascading style sheets (CSS). It will also be designed, tested, and guaranteed to meet the strict W3C standards. If you request it, your website will be designed to meet the strict Section 508 accessilbity guidelines for the disabled. For example, this website was designed with a tableless layout using CSS for positioning and meets the Section 508 accessibility standards. Your website may also be developed using extensible markup language (XML).

Flash Design

A Flash intro page may be nice, but a Flash intro page is not recommended because:

While a Flash intro page is not recommended, small amounts of Flash can really enhance a website and also make it interactive. For example, Flash was used for the Laughing Cat Productions Photo Gallery. Visitors can easily stop the Flash movie, and navigate through the images at their own pace.

Your custom-made website will be designed and developed using these relationship marketing principles:

  1. Your website will load quickly. Your images will be compressed for quick load times.
  2. Your website will be easy to navigate, and a site map will be included for large websites.
  3. Your website will be designed with a liquid design layout so that it will look similar on all browsers and at all resolutions.
  4. The text on your website will be easy to read and will allow the visitor to resize the text to the visitor's own preference (beneficial for visually impaired visitors).

Maintenance

Your website will need to be maintained so that the content doesn't become stale. Simple changes of less than two hours per month may be made based upon an hourly rate.
